UK - May 2014

Having been remiss in sharing the UK shows I was able to attend, I believe better late than never will apply.

After arriving in London our first show was Manchester.  Of the 4 shows we saw our seats were furthest from the stage but it didn't matter one bit.  It was a fantastic fun show.

The next morning we hopped (stepped gingerly with our heavy luggage) onto the train to Glasgow.   I love the British countryside, so green and lush.  Reminds me of Wisconsin which maybe why I feel so at home there.   I'm sure it also has to do with the warm friendly Brits.  I got the feeling they don't think they are welcoming but they were.

Hop-on Hop-off tours were our friend.  Its a great way to see a city in a short time.
The Glasgow show:

Oh - by the way I still hadn't found the best settings on newer camera so continue to have lighting issues.

What a wonderful surprise to run into the nice British ladies we'd met on our trip in 2011.   We happen to stay at the same hotel.  We found a tucked away unused meeting room and debriefed after the show.  The next day we ran into them again and had lunch together.

We had an extra day in Scotland so took advantage of our Britrail Pass.  An hour on the train took us over to Edinburgh.  What an interesting beautiful city.

Next stop was Cardiff:

Last but definitely not least  - O2 in London
